Location. The Eldorado Hotel & Spa is located in downtown Santa Fe, N.M. The hotel is two blocks from the Santa Fe plaza, the Museum of Fine Arts and Palace of the Governors, where American Indians sell hand made jewelry and crafts. Hotel Features. The Eldorado Court & Lounge serves breakfast and lunch daily. Drinks and live entertainment are offered nights at the Eldorado Court & Lounge. The Old House serves international cuisine with a Santa Fe flair. The Eldorado Hotel and Spa's exterior is made of stucco in traditional Santa Fe style. The hotel displays original Southwestern artwork and cactus throughout. The hotel has a heated rooftop pool and hot tub with views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Expert Tip. Built at the beginning of the 17th century, Palace of the Governors exhibits, collects and archives artifacts from New Mexico's Spanish Colonial (1540 1821), Mexican (1821 1846), U.S. Territorial (1846 1912) and statehood (1912 present) periods. The Segesser Hide Paintings collection includes the first known depictions of Spanish colonial life in the United States.
