Location. The Sheraton Yankee Trader Beach Resort stands across the street from the golden beaches of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. A water bus stop, which transports guests to 20 locations throughout the city, is located two blocks away. This property is positioned four blocks from several oceanfront cafes, and two miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Hotel Features. The lobby exudes informal atmosphere with overstuffed seating placed beneath whirring ceiling fans. Waves poolside bar offers light fare and refreshments, while Munchies Deli is open 24 hours a day, serves Starbucks coffee, and prepares sandwiches and salads. A business center offers two computer stations equipped with high speed Internet access. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee. Recreational opportunities include two palm bordered outdoor pools, a bocce ball court, and a complimentary 24 hour fitness center. A private access skybridge connects the hotel to the beach.
