Location. Nestled adjacent to the Tubac Golf Course in Tubac, Ariz., sits the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa. One mile from the hotel are Tubac Presidio Park, Four Winds Gallery, Artes Alegres Gallery and Tubac Center of the Arts. Tumacacori National Historical Park is within four miles.
Hotel Features. Stables Restaurant serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners within an authentic ranch stable. The restaurant specializes in Southwestern dishes. Mexican dishes are served in Dos Silos' open air environment. Stables Lounge and Patio, embellished with polished mesquite floors, bar tops and saddle barstools, offers cocktails and light snacks. Providing picturesque views of Tubac Golf Course, La Cantina serves light Southwestern dishes and refreshments. The hotel fitness facility includes cardiovascular equipment, elliptical machines, treadmills and free motion weights. A spa tub is located next to the heated outdoor pool. The hotel offers massage services and treatments in the spa center. Conference rooms and a business center, replete with fax machines, photocopy machines and high speed Internet access, are offered by the hotel.
Guestrooms. Consistent with a resort environment, the hotel guestrooms are modeled after the Spanish "casitas" style. Cream colored walls are illuminated by natural light from expansive windows in the 45 guestrooms of the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa. Tiled floors are embellished with colorful, ornate rugs in the rooms. Ceiling fans, sitting areas and desks are featured in each room. Standard amenities include cable television, high speed Internet access and CD players. Rooms offer coffeemakers and refrigerators.
Expert Tip. The Tubac Golf Resort and Spa offers immediate access to a championship 27 hole golf course. The course was created in 1959 after a group of businessmen, fronted by Bing Crosby, purchased the property.
