Location. The palazzo style Hotel Golf is located in the historic and commercial district of Florence, Italy. It is 500 metres from both the Palatina Gallery and Michelangelo Square. Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR) is four kilometres away and Santa Maria Novella railway station is 200 metres from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Renovated in 2005, Hotel Golf combines both classical and modern features. The white three storey period exterior of the hotel faces a quiet street, its front door leading to a lobby with marble floors, sofa, television and wood panelled walls and front desk. Facilities at the hotel include a bar, lounge, reading room, currency exchange and private guest parking (surcharge).

Hotel Golf offers a complimentary buffet breakfast to guests. American Bar is open for drinks and there is also a snack bar.

From Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR):
Distance to Hotel Golf is four kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR 16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one day pass for Florence's city buses. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Hotel Golf is 500 metres from the Palatina Gallery and Michelangelo Square. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station. The hotel has complimentary onsite parking.
