The Porto Tango is a villa style holiday hotel overlooking the sea and inspired by traditional Cycladic design, located six kilometres from Tinos town centre. The complex features 62 air conditioned guestrooms with traditional, summery Greek decor, tiled floors and wooden ceilings. All guestrooms include satellite television, dial up Internet connections, direct dial telephones, minibars and balconies with views over the Aegean and Dilos Island.
By day, guests can enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool, sunbathe on the terrace or unwind with a cocktail from the poolside bar. In the evening, guests can watch the sun set over the Aegean and experience traditional live music. The main dining area offers local dishes made from the hotel's home grown organic products and flavoured with Tinian herbs. Guests can also sample international fare and a range of hand made desserts. The onsite taverna offers a selection of traditional regional dishes in an intimate, informal atmosphere, and regular theme nights invite guests to enjoy authentic Italian food or an open air barbecue. Those seeking extreme relaxation can indulge in an aromatic massage or a range of beauty treatments at the Tango Thalasso Spa Centre. For guests visiting on business, the hotel's Balanis Hall is able to accommodate up to 200 people and is available for professional or cultural meetings, conferences or conventions. Free parking is provided for all guests arriving by car. The hotel is located six kilometres from the town of Tinos, home of the Archaeological Museum and the 15th century Holy Palace of Evangelistria. Regular boat services run from Tinos to Mykonos, Dilos and the other Cycladic Islands. Mykonos Airport is 30 kilometres away and can be reached by car and boat in approximately 30 minutes.
