The Falkensteiner Hotel Carinza is housed in a modern building characterised by contemporary wood and glass architecture, and is set in landscaped grounds next to the ski lifts. The 160 guestrooms over three floors feature dark wood furniture, glass partitions and subtle lighting and open onto balconies. All are equipped with satellite television, Internet connections (surcharge), direct dial telephones, minibars, safes and bathrooms with robes, showers and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel's two floor spa centre features a brine steam bath, a Carinthian sauna and full range of indulgent health and beauty treatments. The Ganritz Gorge viewpoint is ten kilometres away, while the Wulfenia nature park is 12 kilometres from the hotel. The best way to reach the hotel is by car. A taxi from the airport will cost approximately 35 EUR. Although Hermagor is compact, a car would be useful for exploring the surrounding area.
